An incredible Vintage Rolex Submariner 5513 Matte Black Serif Dial Wristwatch Circa 1971. Original non serif font matte black Submariner dial is in superb condition with incredible color matching hands and lume plots. Bezel Insert has turned into a faded "ghost" grey color and compliments the dial perfectly. Pearl appears to have been replaced when watch was serviced at a RSC. Stainless steel Oyster case is thick and well defined. Oyster case has been professionally detailed to showcase the knife edge chafers. Caseback is dated fourth quarter of 1970. Original Rolex USA bracelet has the corresponding case serial number engraved, will fit 7.25" wrist size, dated 1971. Oyster Perpetual Caliber 1520 automatic movement is running. Timepiece has retained the original twin Oyster lock crown.
